These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are entered into between le Parapluie de Cherbourg and any non-commercial individual wishing to make a purchase via the website. Le Parapluie de Cherbourg reserves the right to modify the General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time; however, these modifications will not apply to transactions in progress at the time they come into effect.

The order is binding upon receipt on our server along with payment. Acceptance of the order requires that you are clearly identified by carefully completing the online order form.
Prices are quoted in Euros, inclusive of all taxes, and reflect the VAT applicable on the day of your order. Prices are subject to change at any time. You are informed of the price to be paid when you place your order, and you agree to pay the amount plus shipping costs in advance when you place your order.
In accordance with Article L.121.16 of the French Consumer Code, you have the right to return the items ordered. All products are eligible for a refund except those excluded by law, for example, products that have been personalized at your request (embroidery of initials).
You have 14 days from the date of receipt of your package to return your order. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on your request, an exchange or refund will be made. However, the products must not have been used or damaged and must be returned intact in their original packaging with any accessories, warranty, and other documentation.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

In accordance with the law of March 13, 2000 on electronic signatures, the online transmission of your card number and the final validation of your order constitute proof of the entire order and the payment of the amounts due in settlement of this request. For each order, you are asked for a fixed contribution to the order processing costs (postage, packaging, preparation of the package) which is communicated in the “Basket” step when placing the order online.
Delivery of products may be carried out:
By Colissimo without signature or at a relay point: for shipments to Metropolitan France, Monaco and within the French overseas departments and territories, the delivery time is 48 hours (2 working days)
For shipments to overseas territories, the approximate delivery time is 5 to 7 days depending on the destination. For international shipments, the approximate delivery time is 4 to 8 days depending on the destination.

If the package is not collected from the Post Office, it will remain available for 10 days. After this period, it will be returned to the Manufactures des Parapluies de Cherbourg.
If, despite our precautions, one of your items arrives damaged upon delivery, simply let us know.
