On the occasion of its fortieth anniversary, it turns towards this light and unveils a new creation: The Cherbourg Parasol.
This new piece expands its range while remaining true to its core identity. From rain to sun, the intention remains the same: to protect with precision, to design with exacting standards, and to ensure each creation stands the test of time.
From its inception, Le Parapluie de Cherbourg has championed a demanding vision of the useful object.
A protective object cannot be reduced to its sole function. It must naturally complement its uses, withstand the seasons, and preserve, over time, the quality of its design as well as that of its materials.
This conviction gave rise to the Manufacture's iconic creations. Today, it finds a new expression in Le Parasol de Cherbourg.
Where the umbrella accompanies movement and theOmbrelle follows walks and ceremonies, the parasol settles into a place. It casts a shadow, structures a space, and invites us to prolong moments spent outdoors.
This anniversary creation therefore does not mark a break, but the natural extension of know-how applied to a new use.

This collaboration brings together two complementary areas of expertise: the Manufacture's experience in creating durable protective objects and Socotex's mastery in designing solutions adapted to outdoor uses.
From this encounter was born a parasol faithful to the spirit of the Cherbourg Umbrella: sober in its lines, demanding in the choice of its materials and attentive to the quality of its finishes.
With Le Parasol de Cherbourg, the Manufacture continues the opening begun with L'Ombrelle.
