The Manufacture reveals all its secrets through self-guided and guided tours throughout the year. You will discover the manufacturing process of a Cherbourg Umbrella as well as its history and creations.

An exceptional visit

Awarded the "Qualité Tourisme" label, Le Parapluie de Cherbourg offers tours of its setting, in an exceptional setting overlooking the port. It invites you to stroll through the private lounges and discover digital retranscriptions of the manufacturing process with a view of the workshops.

Course of the visit

During your visit to the Le Parapluie de Cherbourg brand factory, you will discover:

  • Presentation of the different stages of umbrella manufacturing
  • Presentation of the brand through a film in a cinema
  • Museum: retrospective of the brand and the umbrella, exhibition of unique models created for major luxury brands.
  • Exhibition halls overlooking the basin: photos, paintings, sculptures (depending on the artist)
  • Visit to the Haussmannian boutique
