Le Parapluie de Cherbourg, an iconic French brand specializing in the design and manufacture of high-end umbrellas, has chosen to partner with Normandy-based ready-to-wear specialist Kiplay Vintage. This collaboration has resulted in an umbrella available in two original colors, each featuring a map of Normandy on its canvas.

This new model, with a diameter of 100 cm, features a canvas featuring a map of Normandy on every other side and a straight handle in Jura hornbeam. It is available in two colors: black and red.

For this creation, the designers at Parapluie de Cherbourg and Kiplay Vintage selected the essential model for extreme conditions: the Antibourrasque. Wind tunnel tested at 155 km/h, it is the ultimate benchmark in terms of resistance. Made in France, it reveals a chic spirit by embodying French elegance and will be your ideal companion in uncertain times.

This vintage umbrella was born from our collaboration with the Kiplay Vintage manufacturer, renowned for its French manufacturing since 1921. This capsule collection is the result of a 100% Norman collaboration and handcrafted, within the framework of our respective traditional know-how. Our umbrella is available in two colors, black or red. The taffeta canvas, perfectly waterproof and waterproof, is thus divided into 8 triangles alternating solid color and Normandy map. Whether you opt for red or black, the triangles featuring the map of Normandy ensure a vintage, particularly authentic and elegant look to your new accessory. The coat of arms of our Cherbourg Manufacture and the name of the Kiplay Vintage brand are embroidered and tone on tone in one of the solid triangles to perfect the beauty of the umbrella in all sobriety.

This vintage umbrella is also highly durable, making it a high-end accessory. A sturdy frame complements our high-quality fabric. Made of a steel shaft and fiber ribs, it allows you to withstand winds of up to 155 km/h and prevents the umbrella from turning inside out. This ultimate windproof model measures 100 cm in diameter, 91 cm in height, and weighs 525 g. This size-to-weight ratio provides the ideal dimensions for optimal comfort. The handle of our high-end umbrella can be straight in Jura hornbeam or curved in chestnut wood, depending on your preference. The natural wood of the handle, the stamped ring, and the ruthenium finishes complete the elegance of your umbrella.
