Le Parapluie de Cherbourg, an iconic French brand specializing in the design and manufacture of high-end umbrellas, has partnered with Kiplay Vintage, a Normandy-based ready-to-wear specialist. This collaboration has resulted in an umbrella available in two original colors, each featuring a map of Normandy on its canopy.

This new model, with a diameter of 100 cm, features a canvas depicting a map of Normandy on every other panel and a straight handle made of Jura hornbeam. It is available in two colors: black and red.

For this creation, the designers of Le Parapluie de Cherbourg and Kiplay Vintage selected the essential model for extreme conditions: L'Antibourrasque. Wind tunnel tested at 155 km/h, it is the ultimate benchmark in terms of resistance. Made in France, it exudes a chic spirit, embodying French elegance, and will be your ideal companion in unpredictable times.

This vintage umbrella is the result of our collaboration with Kiplay Vintage, a French manufacturer renowned since 1921. This capsule collection is the fruit of a 100% Norman collaboration and handcrafted using our respective traditional expertise. Our umbrella is available in two colors: black or red. The taffeta canopy, perfectly waterproof and water-resistant, is divided into eight triangles, alternating between solid colors and a map of Normandy. Whether you choose red or black, the triangles featuring the map of Normandy lend a vintage, authentic, and elegant touch to your new accessory. The crest of our Cherbourg factory and the Kiplay Vintage brand name are embroidered in a tone-on-tone style within one of the solid triangles, adding a touch of understated elegance to the umbrella's beauty.

This vintage umbrella is also very durable, making it a premium accessory. A sturdy frame complements our high-quality fabric. Composed of a steel shaft and fiberglass ribs, it allows you to withstand winds of up to 155 km/h and prevents the umbrella from turning inside out. This excellent stormproof model measures 100 cm in diameter, 91 cm in height, and weighs 525 grams. This size-to-weight ratio provides the ideal dimensions for optimal comfort. The handle of our premium umbrella can be straight, made of Jura hornbeam, or curved, made of chestnut wood, according to your preference. The natural wood of the handle, the stamped ring, and the ruthenium finish complete the elegance of your umbrella.
