Le Parapluie de Cherbourg, an iconic French brand specializing in the design and manufacture of top-of-the-range umbrellas, has teamed up with Normandy ready-to-wear specialist Kiplay Vintage. The result is an umbrella in two original colors, each featuring a map of Normandy on its canvas.

This new model, with a diameter of 100 cm, features a canvas with a map of Normandy on every other panel, and a straight handle in Charme du Jura. Available in two colors: black & red.

For this creation, the designers at Le Parapluie de Cherbourg and Kiplay Vintage have selected the ultimate model for extreme conditions: L'Antibourrasque. Wind-tunnel tested to 155 km/h, it is the ultimate reference in terms of resistance. Made in France, it reveals a chic spirit, embodying French elegance, and will be your ideal companion in uncertain times.

This vintage umbrella is the result of our collaboration with Kiplay Vintage, a French manufacturer renowned since 1921. This capsule collection is the fruit of a 100% Normandy collaboration and hand-crafted using our respective traditional know-how. Our umbrella is available in two colors, black or red. The waterproof taffeta canvas is divided into 8 triangles, alternating solid color and Norman map. Whether you opt for red or black, the triangles featuring the map of Normandy ensure a particularly authentic and elegant vintage feel to your new accessory. The coat-of-arms of our Manufacture de Cherbourg and the Kiplay Vintage brand name are embroidered tone-on-tone in one of the plain triangles, to complete the umbrella's understated beauty.

This vintage umbrella is also extremely durable, making it a top-of-the-range accessory. Our high-quality fabric is complemented by a sturdy frame. Composed of a steel shaft and fiber ribs, it can withstand winds of up to 155 km/h and prevents the umbrella from flipping over. This ultimate windproof model measures 100 cm in diameter, 91 cm in height and weighs 525 g. This size-to-weight ratio provides the ideal dimensions for optimum comfort. The handle of our top-of-the-range umbrella can be straight in hornbeam or curved in chestnut wood, as you prefer. The natural wood of the handle, the stamped ring and the ruthenium finish complete the elegance of your umbrella.
